153 km of fast-rolling gravel from Villiersdorp to Hermanus. Ride through endless orchards, golden canola fields, and past towering wind turbines. The mountains stretch for miles, and the adventure runs even deeper.

82 km of pure speed from Wolwekraal near Caledon to Benguela Cove, Hermanus. Race through rolling gravel roads, sweep past golden canola fields, and ride beneath towering wind turbines. This is a route built for big moves and even better views!

Scenery was indescribable but the route was super tough to say the least - a hard day in the saddle!

Conquering the 164km Race to the Sea mountain bike race from Franchoek to Hermanus one climb at a time 8 Many hours spent in the saddle enduring the endless 2635 meters of climbing and the exhillarating descents as we traverse through the picturesque Overberg Canola fields to the sea. #livefortheadventure #lovetheride #ironmantraining Absolute Motion. Thank you for a superb experience from start to finish. Water Points were great …friendly support, well stocked with a variety of snacks to keep us going ⭐ … route was well marked all the way ⭐… single tracks added to the fun element ⭐… and the red cheerleader ladies ended my race on an even higher note ⭐ … well done to the whole Race to the Sea team / organisers.
